Derick Michael Dillard (born March 9, 1989) is the husband of Jill Dillard.
Derick married Jill Duggar on June 21, 2014. On April 6, 2015, Jill gave birth to a son, Israel David. Jill was in labor for 70 hours and ended up having an emergency c-section.
Since July 18, 2015, Derick, Jill and Israel have been on a mission trip in El Salvador. After almost two years of their on-again, off-again mission trip, the Dillard family have decided to stay back in the US for the time being.
On December 20, 2017, Jill and Derick announced that they are expecting their second child in July 2017. On January 30, 2017, they announced that they are having another boy. They will name him Samuel Scott. He was born on July 8, 2017, via a c-section after 40 hours of labor.
